Introduction
I met another
saint called Ranchod Bapuji, who also visited our Ashram
once. He did a great deal of work among the needy. Wherever
there was famine, he would rush to assist the starving
villagers by giving them food, water, and clothing.
He was also a great Siddha.
Bapuji was omniscient. He, too, ate very simple, light
food. He was a great renunciant and very loving and
powerful. He removed the pain and poverty of many. Enormous
crowds of thousands of people used to gather around
him. Sometimes he would disappear for days on end, and
no one would know where he had gone. Suddenly he would
reappear in the midst of the people. His behavior was
extraordinary. He was incomparably secretive. It is
impossible to truly describe him. Such rare Siddhas
occasionally manifest in the world.
